Dorshei Shalom
The
Hebrew phrase "Dorshei Shalom" means
"bringers of Shalom." Sponsored by
our Congregational Involvement Committee, the goal of
Dorshei Shalom is to provide a welcoming voice
and helpful smile to every individual who joins us for
our Erev Shabbat, Friday evening worship services.
Volunteers help to make newcomers and visitors feel
at home as they learn about our worship practices and
the many other offerings of Shaaray Tefila's programs.
If
you are interested in serving as greeter-usher during
any of our Erev Shabbat services, our Dorshei
Shalom Program will provide you with the tools
to greet with confidence and efficiently handle the
responsibilities of this important mitzvah.
You can contact the Temple office at 212-535-8008 for
further information.
